The sun skims the walls along New Chancery Lane. A daily event that takes about 30 seconds, the seemingly flat surface of the wall on the Eastern side of the street transforms into a series of bumps, scratches and imperfections, revealing the fingerprint of architecture, breaking it down into a set of individual components, each placed, shaped and adjusted by the human hand, each unique. 30 seconds later, the angle of the sun once again hides these imperfections and returns the facade to a cold, simple, structural slab.
